“Blue Vests” in Action

On February 21, 2023, the opening ceremony for Nujin Appliance Innovation School was solemnly held in Conference Room No. 1. The ceremony was chaired by Wang Shanhao, Deputy General Manager of the Manufacturing Center, and attended by General Manager Nan Yisen, Executive Deputy General Manager Shi Jihua, and Director of the Organizational Development Department Hong Fen. More than forty employees from the company participated in the opening ceremony.
Previously, in our pursuit of maximizing the efficiency of our production system and reducing manufacturing costs, we launched a TPM initiative. The initiative was organized into four teams: the Charging Team, the Blue Sky Team, the Hot Fire Team, and the Pioneering Team, each of which carried out improvements in one of four areas: the stamping workshop, the tapping workshop, the heat treatment workshop, and the automated packaging workshop.
Set goals
Breaking through self-imposed limits and daring to embrace innovation will always be the driving force behind a company’s progress! Management backbones and technical elites participating in the improvement projects demonstrated their commitment to continuous enhancement to the entire company by signing letters of responsibility. The four heads of the improvement teams signed letters of responsibility for improvement targets with both the company and General Manager Nan, officially kicking off the improvement initiative. In his mobilization speech, General Manager Nan encouraged the improvement teams to achieve the company’s goals, while emphasizing that they must remain down-to-earth and pragmatic throughout the process and avoid any form of impatience or haste.
At the outset of the meeting, all participants jointly recited the “Ten Principles for Continuous Improvement.” Next, the vision of the Innovation School was read aloud, and the organizational structure for advancing the Innovation School was announced. Following that, the awarding ceremony for innovation and improvement initiatives took place. General Manager Nan presented the awards to the group leaders.

Go, new team!

Act now
The entire improvement team consists of part-time members who not only have to devote themselves to the intense improvement tasks but also continue to perform their regular duties effectively. Especially in the early stages of the improvement initiative, they must undergo training and acquire the necessary knowledge and skills. Many teams have already been working late into the night—often past 8 p.m.—for several days running. General Manager Wang is also actively exploring ways to enhance the team’s work efficiency and reduce members’ overtime hours.
